So sad. :-(

Yesterday was honestly a day that I thought never would come. I know that sounds so silly because it's inevitable, but I truly never thought it would happen. My dear Grandpa, passed away last night. I could have had a hundred years to prepare for it and would never be fully prepared. :-( I don't know life without him. It breaks my heart and I'm just so sad.

I love you so much Grandpa. So much.

I know it's early...

but has anyone starting thinking or actually shopping for Christmas yet? I've been compiling a list of everyone we need to buy for and our round about budget. But unless I find something on a SMOKIN' deal, I'm going to try to do almost all my shopping the day after Thanksgiving. I know it's crazy busy on that day, but honestly, how much I save make it totally worth it! So tell me what your plans are for Christmas shopping??

The carving night!

Tonight we got to carve our spoils. :-) Cole learning how to clean out his pumpkin.

Trying to look inside...

Ryan cleaning out his pumpkin.

Cole assumed that if I gave him a spoon, that meant he was supposed to EAT what was inside the pumpkin!

Cole and daddy working on his pumpkin.

Ryan making sure he got all the guts out.

Ryan's SCARY VAMPIRE PUMPKIN! (you know your scared!)

Ryno and his pumpkin!

Cole and his SCARY GHOST PUMPKIN!

Me and my pumpkin...mine has eyelashes...cause I'm a girl! LOL!

Josh and his pumpkin...his has a moustache!

The Iniguez family and the Iniguez family pumpkins! Oh yeah, and we totally tried to get Ryan to smile, but he wouldn't and we tried to get Cole to take his finger out of his nose...and he wouldn't...Oh well...such is life! :-)

OOoooooo! Spooky!!! I personally think they look pretty great!!! :-)

The PUMPKIN PATCH!

Okay so these are out of order, but I'm to lazy to rearrange them! LOL! So here we are!

Trying to get a cute picture on the pumpkins...

No such luck!

Looking out the back of the wagon.

The boys and I on the wagon.

Josh and the boys on the wagon. :-)

Ryan and his pumpkin.

Josh and Cole with their pumpkins. Cole did try to carry his...but it didn't work out. :-)

Cole trying to lift with his legs!

Ryan was super happy when he found his "most perfect pumpkin!"

Cole just chillin' on a pumpkin!

Ryno and Colerbear

Josh watching the boys look for their pumpkins.

He knew it just HAD to be there!

Cole did not want anyone's help. He wanted to explore the WHOLE patch! This was a great pumpkin patch! It had some of the most perfectly round pumpkins ever! We were very happy with the ones we got!

Jordan's Autzen game!

So we went down to Eugene the other weekend to see Jordan play a game at Autzen. Their team did FANTASTIC and Jordan playing amazingly! He caught an interception and ran it back for a touchdown and then scored another touchdown! It was great! Needless to say, they won. :-) Here are some pictures from the night.

So we got to hang out that weekend with Bryan and Jess and the kids and relax. It was really fun! Getting back too a little more effort, but it all worked out!

Ah today...

I've been home sick from work the past two days. No, not the swine flu, but still not fun at all. Yesterday I slept for probably almost the whole day. Today I managed to get a couple of things done. Hey, I made dinner, that's good right? It was also easy to sit on the couch and go through all the paperwork that was on our table. So I got to watch some tv and not be up around doing too much. They boys went to school and ms. carolyn's today. They are such sweet little boys, although I think Ryan is getting what I had. He has been coughing a ton and is starting to get some icky snot too. Ms. Carolyn said that he had said his tummy was hurting. :-( I really hope he's not getting it...it's not fun at all. :-(
So I made enchilada bake for dinner with corn muffins and corn...I know...double corn...oh well. Tomorrow's dinner will be meatloaf, rolls, mashed potatoes and green beans. I miss making homemade dinners every night. It seems like every evening we get home and it's already so late, we don't have time to make a real dinner so we just throw together whatever we can. I need to get back into the swing of things!
Okay well with that said, I need to get dinner stuff cleaned up and then load the boys up to go and get Josh. He had to work late tonight and that sucks. :-(

The cat's out of the bag...

After a lot of prayer, thought, pros and cons and more prayer...Josh and I have decided that we will be moving to Utah. We are very excited about it, even if we are nervous! One of the biggest deciding factors was the fact that Salt Lake is right in between our family in the northwest and our family in Kansas, Arkansas and Texas. Another big deciding factor was the fact that there are like 15 nursing schools in the Salt Lake Valley! Josh has been applying for some great jobs and so have I...so if you can, please remember us in your prayers as we go through the job search process!

2009 Harvest Run

On Oct 3rd, Josh and I did the Harvest Run here. It was actually a lot of fun and I did much better than I expected! Rob and Amber were awesome enough to let Ryan stay the night with them and hang out while we did this. THANK YOU MCDONALD FAMILY! I pushed Cole in the stroller and he really liked it for the most part...it wasn't until the end that he started to get a little whiney. :-) So Josh did AWESOME! He placed 56th out of 220 and I placed 110...just barely squeaking into the top 50%. :-) But hey, there is always next year to do better! :-)

The three of us just before the race started.

Just after the race

Cole enjoying a post race apple. :-)

Daddy and Cole have some tasty beverages waiting for the race results.

A sampling of the group of runners! PeaceHealth won the corporate challenge for the most people representing our company! I think they said we had almost 100 participants! GO US!!!
