Cloudy with a chance...

So yesterday after work, I headed over to Rob and Amber's house to steal their kids. Ryan hadn't gotten to see them in a while so I thought it would be fun for all of us to go to a movie. So we grabbed the kids and headed over to Scappoose so we could see Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs in 3D. It was SO much fun! The was so cute and the kids laughed a lot. About halfway through, Cole got a little restless and didn't want to sit anymore. So I took him down by the door where no one could see us, but I could still see the movie and the kids. Cole was happy to get to move around and it was SO cute to look up at the kids with their 3D glasses on. I wish I had a camera with me to take a picture! They all did fantastic! After the movie we headed home and dropped off Tate, Tucker and Tylar. I hope for Rob and Amber's sake they were just as wiped out as my kids were! We came home and they went right to bed without a word! :-) After that, I laughed with Jenn and Angela for a little bit and then caught up with a friend from high school that I hadn't talked to in a long time. Josh seems to be having a lot of fun in Kansas with his family...but we definitely miss him here! Every time Ryan hears a car door close he says "Oh! I think daddy's home!" Cole just walks up to the door and says Dada! Dada!
Speaking of Cole...he has some new words...apple and puppy. :-) He's so cute! I seriously think "COOL" is his favorite word though. :-)
I was SUPER proud of Ryan, on Friday he only missed ONE of his spelling words! He's finally gotten in to writing them down to practice...and he does very well spelling them out loud.
So today it's kind of chilly outside so I'm going to work on getting the house clean and the laundry folded and put away. I think I'll have to abandon the thought of cleaning the living room until after Cole is in bed tonight because everytime I pick something up, he pulls it back out again...oh well. I'll just work on the kitchen (which is 3/4 done), the dining room and the bathrooms. Those should keep me busy for a while.
