Hudson is ONE year old!

Just a quick warning...this is going to be a VERY picture heavy post! :-)  My little man, Hudson turned ONE today!  I can't believe it's been a year already.  We've had some much fun and I can't believe how much he's grown, learned and changed.

For some reason this morning, everyone in the house was awake before 7am.  That usually doesn't happen!  So we decided to have birthday pancakes!

In his super cute 1st birthday shirt!  Fresh from the bath!  After we got dressed, we headed down to Aunt Jenn's house to do some 1st birthday and smash cake pictures!

Later that evening, we had a small cupcake party with just our family and Hudson got to open (with the help of Cole) a present.  We are having his birthday party with Lila on Sunday, so he'll get the rest of his presents then. :-)

I'm so blessed by all of my boys and we are so grateful to have Hudson in our family.  He's sweet spirit and happy attitude are a joy!  We get to go see the doctor tomorrow for his one year check up so we'll see how he's doing on everything.

A few of Hudson's accomplishments...

Learning to walk, he takes 5-7 steps at a time.  Sometimes more if he's going after something he really wants!

Folding his arms for prayer.  He just started doing this and it's REALLY the sweetest thing ever.  The first time I looked over at him during family prayer and saw him with  his little arms folded, I completely melted.

Talking...he babbles all the time but his best words are, Mama (when he's being sweet or sad) and MOM!  when he wants my attention.  We've been working on Santa, but it comes out more TA.  And of course Dada...he said Dad once very plainly but hasn't really said it since.  He's also mastered Oww.

Like I said before...he's the sweetest little guy!  I love snuggling him.  He gives great hugs and the most adorable smiles.  I love you my little Hudson boy!

*EDIT*  So we had Hudson's one year check up today and he's 25lbs 1oz =75% and 31 inches long=90%! He grew 2.5 inches in 3 months!  BIG growth spurt! :-)
