Happy FIRST birthday COLE!!!!

Oh my dear baby Colton! I can't even believe how big you are!! You are walking and have even started RUNNING! You try to do everything big brother does, even if it means that you end up tail over tea kettle! :-) With a mouthful of teeth (14 at last count!) you eat just about anything and everything. And if Daddy is eating anything he'd better be prepared to share cause you are going to want it too! You are growing well, at 29.5 inches tall and 20.8lbs your getting taller...but your activeness is keeping your weight down. Dr. Bartlett thought you will hilarious at your appt! You just kept running back and forth! You also sat so nicely while he checked your ears, teeth and body. You did great until it was shots time. That you weren't so happy about. But you did good and only cried for a minute. You are pretty independent and know how to get your way! You can say mama, dada, bruh (brother), eat, uh oh, hi, baba (bottle) and duh (for Uncle Donnie). You LOVE LOVE LOVE to be outside whenever you can! We are so happy that it's getting warmer outside so we can be out in the sunshine! You are such a doll baby. I love you so much! Even when you are getting into everything (like the dishwasher soap!) you are such a wonderful boy and I couldn't ask for more!

PS...please excuse the pictures...they suck but since my camera died we had to use a disposable...BOO!! His real party is this Saturday and I promise there will be better pictures. My boys did amazing considering the circumstances and I just love them SO much!

More teeth...

Cole's two giant front teeth have finally broken through! Well now he's getting his little fangs in! One has broken through already and the other one is just about to...five teeth and one on the way...Where oh where has my little baby gone. :-(

Oh the pain!

So I was being a good mommy and snuggling with Cole and nursing him. He decides to hate me and bite me. Those teeth are like RAZORS!!! He actually made me cry...and BLEED!

ETA: Josh says that Cole was just trying to be like Edward! LOL!

that there is other stuff I should be posting about, but I'm too tired to remember. Ryan was so cute tonight and called Anna to talk to her and tell her happy birthday. It was REALLY funny to listen to them talking. On Sunday we went down to Portland to have dinner with Tommy and Nicole and Vicki and Jordan. Ryan was really excited because Toryn was there and he'd have someone to play with. :-) Cole was pretty grouchy, I'm sure there are more teeth working their way through. His little cheeks are swollen, so I know there are more to come soon. Ryan's new fun thing is asking for a high five, then saying "down low, TOO slow!" He thinks he's SOOO funny! :-) Alright, well Josh, Ryan and Cole are all sleeping, so I'm going to take advantage of that and sleep too!

Five months, 1 week and 3 days old...

And he has his first TWO teeth!! The anxiously awaited front bottom teeth came through FINALLY today. We aren't sure exactly when it happened, because when I checked his gums this morning, there were no teeth. He was quite a little grouch today and after I got back from the store Josh said he'd been very sad. I said "well check his gums and see if there is anything there". So Josh did and low and behold...there they were!!! You can't really SEE them yet, but oh my gosh are they sharp!! They are both just barely there. I'm so happy he's gotten though through. However, with how swollen the rest of his little gums are, I think we have some more teeth coming VERY soon!

Coler-Bear...

Cole had his four month check up today...yes I know he's five months old. :-) Anyway, he's 16lbs 8oz and 25.5 inches long and his head is 42.5cm. He's basically in the 50th percentile for everything. :-) Unfortunately, the poor baby has thrush, a yeast infection, teething and a cold. :-( He was SOOOO happy for the dr today! Dr. Bartlett just sat there and held him and played with him while he talked to us. He also got three shots today. He wasn't very happy about that, but once daddy picked him up, he was just fine. We talked to him about Cole's sleeping issues and he said that he doesn't think it's colic but that he's getting overwhelmed with all the changes in his little life and once things settle down, he thinks it will get better.
We asked him about Ryan's attitude that he's had lately and he thinks Ryan is overly tired and overwhelmed also. He told us to encourage Miss Carolyn to have Ryan take an after school nap and not just quiet time. He said to keep his bedtime at 7pm and if he comes into our bed at night during the week to take him back to his bed because he's probably not sleeping well if he's in bed with us. He said he thinks if Ryan is in bed with us and Cole is in the same room (not to mention Josh's snoring) then he probably isn't sleeping WELL, so he's still tired. So basically we've been prescribed sleep! :-) I'm okay with that!
Tomorrow they are having a free harvest festival (can't beat a free fun day!) and we have to meet with the bishop at the church at 10am. So I should probably get myself and Cole to sleep! :-) Ryan's already asleep and I don't think Josh is far behind him! LOL!

House of cards....

Tommy dropped Wookie off to us for our visitation. :-) Someday when we have a yard we will get our puppy back!! For now we will have to be happy with our visits. Anyway, school and work have been crazy. I am not loving not getting to see my boys all day everyday. I miss them so much! I have to keep telling myself that it will all be worth it in the end. Ryan is doing amazing at school. He's such a good boy and he's learning SO much everyday. I'm so impressed with his new skills! Josh is doing great at work. He loves going to work each day and I'm so grateful that he's so happy in his job. Cole...oh my sweet little Cole. He is such a sweet little baby, but he's been so sad because of his teeth. They are RIGHT there! You can SEE them, but they haven't broken through and it hurts him. He cried so much last night. It was really sad. :-( But I'm hoping that it will be over soon. He's being pretty fussy right now, so I'd better go and calm him down. But before I do I will leave you with this funny pic of Ryan...
