The weekend...

Sunday was Josh's birthday. We had a lazy day and explored Longview a little more. I made Josh's birthday cake and it was pretty sad...apparently something happened to the writing icing that it looked like it threw up on the cake! LOL! It didn't look super great but it tasted really good. Also, I forgot to buy candles, so we had to use two candles for the 2 and then a five candle plus two candles for the seven. :-) Totally ghetto, but it worked. I've added a picture, it was fun.



Ryan's gotten a little bit of the sickies...but he's doing okay. He's really funny cause when he's sick, he wants to relax in the bath. He's kind of a girl that way! :-) It's probably cause I have spoiled him with bubble baths. So he spent a good half hour in the bath, just playing and relaxing. Now we are getting ready to make lunch so he can lay down for his nap. Josh isn't off until 6:30pm so I'm going to let Ryan eat and take a nap and I'm going to get stuff loaded in the car to take to the garage. Most of it is Christmas decorations, and I also have some clothes that we are taking to goodwill. Let me tell you what, Goodwill is making a killing off of us! :-) So it poured yesterday, but today it's clearing up...hopefully it will stay that way so I can get some stuff done. Ryan is playing his guitar in his room...maybe he should take lessons? He's learned to hold it properly and he strums it very nicely...we'll have to see. Okay, I'd better get off here!
