Fast Weekend!

This weekend went by SO fast! Saturday, we got up and I made pancakes and sausage for breakfast. We knew it was going to be a hot day and we wanted to get to the pool before everyone else did. So we got there about 10:30am. I got in the pool with Ryan first and we played and had fun. Then I got out to lay in and Josh took a turn in the pool with Ryan. It was really fun and Cole slept nicely the whole time! :-) While Josh was in with Ryan, other people showed up with kids, so Josh got out and Ryan played with the other kids. It started to get hot and the pool was getting full, so we decided that two hours was enough and we came home. We spent most of the rest of the day trying to stay cool. We had breakfast sort of late, so we took naps right after the pool time and then decided to just have a light snack and then a cool dinner of ham and cheese sandwiches and chips. I had to run to the store to get the chips and when I got in the car, the car thermometer said it was 100° outside! YIKES! So we enjoyed our evening together trying to stay cool and lounging around. Today, I got up and got in the shower before church. Josh got Cole dressed and Ryan got himself dressed and Josh helped him with his shoes. I got out and got dressed and believe it or not...we were on time for church!! Sacrament was good and Ryan went to his class like a champ! We only have one car and Josh had a work thing he had to that he had to be there at noon, so we had to leave early from church. Josh's thing was at a park so we all went and I let Ryan play and get his wiggles out. Then we drove a little while to look at some more houses...one of these days we'll be able to buy! Then we came home. Josh cleaned the bathroom, I unloaded and loaded the dishwasher and made meatloaf for dinner, then we all settled down and now the boys are sleeping. :-) I was playing with Cole and I don't know if I mentioned before, but right before he's going to poo he makes kissy lips. Finally today I got a pic...it's not a great (or very flattering)pic...but it's SO funny!

Poor boy has got his days and nights mixed up...it's been making for some long nights. I can usually handle it until about five am and then I pass him off to josh so I can sleep for a couple of hours before Ryan wakes up. Ryan has been LOVING getting to go to the pool. This next week it's supposed to cool off to high 70's/low 80's, that's just perfect for me!
Oh yeah, for all you Twilight lovers...it was 80° in Forks yesterday...what would Edward have done?!?! LOL! Okay this is a boring post, so I'm going to go now! I should try to sleep while Cole is still sleeping! :-)
