Father's Day and Cole is ONE month old!

We've had a pretty relaxing Father's Day. Church was nice and Ryan even got up to sing! He made Josh a cute paper tie with his picture on it. :-) We came home and it was nap time for ALL of us! After we got up, Josh went to practice his golf swing while Ryan, Cole and I worked on his presents. :-) We had a yummy burrito dinner and then we had cake for dessert and Josh opened his gifts...it was a nice day!

Cole is one month old today!!! I really can't believe it's been a whole month already! If you look closely in these pics you can see how his hair stick straight up...that's what it does naturally if we don't flatten it with baby lotion! LOL!



Ryan and Cole...aren't my boys so adorable!! Right after I took this pic...I put the camera down to get Cole's blanket so I could swaddle him and Josh was on the phone in the other room. I was gone maybe eight seconds and I came back and Ryan and Cole were off the chair and Ryan had Cole on the couch, over his shoulder, burping him. I had to calmly tell Ryan that he's not big enough to carry Cole anywhere. He looked at me like I was crazy and told me that Cole needed to burp so he was burping him. I didn't want to get mad at him because he was trying to help and technically he wasn't breaking my "you have to be sitting to hold him" rule. He really looked like a natural holding and burping him. It was SO cute...even if it was pretty scary at the same time!



I can't believe I am posting this pic...but I told Josh that in the month Cole has been here...I only have like two pics of him and I together. I look completely heinous and tired...AND WHITE! But in all fairness, here in Washington...we JUST started having sunny days. For any Twilight readers...yes, it actually rains more in Washington than Oregon and most days ARE overcast...it's crazy!

Anyway, Cole is doing great. He's getting bigger...but taking it slow so he's not getting too big, too fast. :-) He's SO strong. He's been holding his head up since the day he was born and has just been doing it for longer and longer. He LOVES to be held...in fact I'm starting to worry if we are going to be holding him alot. He got a new bouncer and it's funny because he LOVES the vibrating part on, but only if he's sleeping. And he likes to sit and watch the waterfall and animals on the toy bar...but only if the vibrating part isn't on! LOL! I think having both on his just too much stimulation for him. He's a good boy and even though is sleeping habits aren't as lengthy as Ryan's were, I'm still so blessed to get to have him.
