Day one...
We are trying to Cole to sleep in his bed at least part of the night. Lately he hasn't been going to sleep unless he's being held, and then he wakes up the second you put him down. So we are going to give it a try with us going through the bedtime routine with him and then laying him down. So far there aren't any tears...but we can hear him just playing and talking right now. Here's to hoping it's not super painful for all of us involved.

he is so cute in those last pictures.
This can be really painful! Olivia was so good slept thru the night at 6 weeks and went right to bed when we put her down until she hit about 18 months. Then everynight she would end up climbing in bed with us in the middle of the night. Now she will be 3 next month and she is so good at being sneaky she doesnt even wake us when she crawls into our bed. I just gave up!
We had to do this with our oldest and youngest. Its so hard, but well worth it once you get a "real" full night's sleep.
Although, there are nights where I miss having a little cuddlebug.
