This past weekend Josh competed again at the Highlander Games in Kelso. It's pretty cool to watch and Ryan and Cole get to play all day! There are five games, Bramer Stone toss, weight for distance, weight for height, hammer throw and caber toss. Josh and his team did a great job...and they were by FAR the most fasionable! :-)
The Knights.
Caber toss
Cole being a camera hound!
Ryan being Ryan. :-)
ColerBear and Daddy
Hammer Throw
The team.
Ryan on the playground where he spent the majority of the day!
Watching the games.
Isn't he handsome!
The Bramer Stone
Lunch time!
He's so silly!
Josh looks good in a skirt!
Cole took a little tumble on the slide. It was pretty sad. He had gone down the slide a couple of times and was SO excited to do it again, but his tennis shoe caught the slide and flipped him head over tea kettle and he bashed his little nose on the slide. He was extremely sad and only cookies would make him feel better. ;-)So that was our day at the Highlander Festival and Games. I was really glad that Josh got to do it again this year AND their team came in second place! And who doesn't love seeing Josh in a skirt...er kilt...yeah, it's a kilt! :-)

Wow, that looks like so much fun! I can't believe we've lived here for 7 years and have only been to the Highlander Festival once.

Way to go Josh!!! What a fun day.
