More pumpkin pictures!

Here are some more pumpkin pictures!  Josh didn't get his done because it's enormous and he was helping Hudson. :-)  He'll finish his up tomorrow night!

Cleaning out all the guts.  Ryan dug right in to get to work on his, Hudson wasn't very sure but did it with a little help, Cole was talking to himself saying things like "I got your heart!  I got your other heart!  Ugh, you took my guts!"  LOL!  It was pretty funny...even if it was slightly creepy!

Ryan working hard on his pumpkin and very happy with the outcome! :-)

Josh working on Hudson's pumpkin and Hudson coloring on the other side. :-)

Cole and his finished pumpkin.  He told me, I want my pumpkin just like Ninja Cole's pumpkin but bigger! :-)

Our awesome pumpkins!

Our Pumpkin Practice Run

So, we were supposed to carve pumpkins tonight, but Hudson and Cole fell asleep before dinner.  Rather than wake them up and deal with sadness, we let them sleep.  Ryan had picked out two pumpkins, a big one and a small one.  So I told him he could carve the small one tonight.  Cole woke up shortly into the carving process so we let him carve his small pumpkin too.
This was Ryan's first year doing everything on his own.  I have to say, him using the knife was a little scary, but he was so good at listening to what we told him and being safe.  Cole did all the clean out on his own.  Then he told me EXACTLY what he wanted carved into it.  I have to say they did really great! :-)

Getting all the guts out!

Posing with their pumpkins. :-)

The finished product all aglow!  Stay tuned for all of our pumpkins tomorrow! :-)

Fall Family Pictures by ZC Photography!

Since we are expecting our first little girl in January, I wanted to get one last round of family pictures while it was still us with just the three boys.  Zach was so great and met us up at Temple Rock Quarry and got these wonderful pictures of our family.  Josh's mom, Judy was in town and it was great to get some pictures with her also!
In case you don't remember...the last time we had family pictures done...Zach took them for us when Hudson was only 4 months old!

The boys all look so little!!  And it's crazy to me how much our family has changed!

It's amazing what a difference 2.5 years makes!  Ryan is just BARELY shorter than me!!  The fall colors were so beautiful and I'm so happy that Zach was able to squeeze us in!!

These are just a few of them...I won't bore you all with sharing all of them!  Be head over to ZC Photography if you want to check out the rest AND all of Zach's other great work!!

So I have months and months of backposting to work on...but I couldn't wait on making this announcement!  We are super excited to get to add a sweet little girl to our family!  With how excited our boys are, I'm pretty sure she will be the most spoiled and over protected little girl around. :-)

Our Fourth Of July weekend!

We went down to Eugene for the 4th.  Josh got to help out putting the booth together for the www.oregoncountryfair.org and I stayed behind and helped with the kids and all that fun stuff!  Jenn, Jess and I went shopping for dinner stuff and we had an great bbq before we did fireworks.  Here are some pictures!

As soon as I got the boys dressed, I made them sit down for a picture before they got all messy...definitely glad I did that!! :-)

Jenn's beautiful family!

Watching the fireworks!
On Sunday, Cole, Ryan and I all got up and went to church were I got to see some of my wonderful friends that I miss so very much!! Then we headed to the farm to pick strawberries!  The kids had such a fun time and I somehow managed to get a pretty decent sunburn...no fun at all.  After the berry picking we went to the lake.  The kids had a really fun time swimming, even though it was a little windy.  We bbq'd at the lake and just really enjoyed the day!  That evening, we had to head back to Washington, but we will be back down there in a few days for the fair!  I love my family!

Our trip to Idaho

My cousin Ashlee was getting married so we made the drive over to Idaho to be there. We got a later start than I was hoping (thanks to meetings Josh had to be at and our dryer being crappy) but we did okay. We left about the same time Bryan's family did, so it wasn't too bad. Grandma locked the door on us, so when we got to Nampa at about 6am, we just kept on going to Jerome. We got there, got to see everyone and then headed out to Crystal's softball game. Josh had to study and Cole was being grouchy so they stayed in the car, but Crystal and her team did FANTASTIC! Seriously, I wish I would have gotten pictures of it! They played great and won! After that, we grabbed some lunch and then headed back to the house to set up things for the rehearsal dinner. We got stuff put together and then headed to check into our room and get showered and cleaned up. When we got back, the food was going and smelled SOOOO good, so we turned the kids loose to play. Minus a little rain, the evening was really nice and we all had a lot of fun!
So the next morning we got up and got people showered and ready. Jenn and I left the kids with the dads and headed over to the wedding site to see if we could help get some stuff done. Everything got set up and looked great so we headed back to the rooms with just about an hour to get ready. I still hadn't showered yet so we had to hurry to get everyone ready. It all worked out though and we weren't even late for the wedding! The ceremony was beautiful and of course the food was delicious! After some dancing and even more food, we all headed back to get the kids to bed, it had been a pretty long day for them. After the kids were down, Bryan, Jessica, Jenn and I went to meet up with Jeff, Teresa and Mitchell. There weren't many places to hang out in Hagerman so we went with the Angler Inn and Lounge. There were some pretty interesting locals there which made for a LOT of laughing and we played alot of shuffle board. We also sort of took control of the jukebox and I think Jenn and Jessica were trying to get us in fight by playing Barry Manillow, Chicago and Rocky Horror Picture Show. Now I'm not against ANY of that music, I actually like it ALOT, but these people didn't really seem like the crowd that would embrace it. Lucky for us we just sang at the top of our lungs and everyone seemed to let us be. We stayed up way to late and laughed WAY too hard, but we had a really good time.
The next morning Josh got up and got us all donuts, bananas, OJ and chocolate milk for breakfast. It was SO good and a good way to start the day. So we got everything all packed up and headed back to where the grandparents, Mitchell and Teresa were staying. We got to visit for a few mins before we all had to head our separate ways. We went by the waterfalls to take some pictures and then headed back to Nampa. Once we got there, we got to enjoy MORE tacos and taquitos before getting back on the road. I don't know why but it seemed to take TWICE as long to get home as it did to get there. We also stopped at a rest stop that Josh told Ryan to NOT wash his hands because they would actually be CLEANER if he didn't. Needless to say, we won't be stopping at that rest stop EVER again. Also the town of Pendleton and especially the DQ there are dead to me. Outside of those things the trip home was long but not bad. So I think you are all caught up on our trip! :-) I'll try to be better about posting now that I am home again! :-)
