Saturday morning!

So far this morning, I have unloaded and loaded the dishwasher, made french toast for breakfast( Cole ate one and a half pieces!!), and have done a load of laundry! And I only woke up at 7:45am! Go me! :-) Ryan is currently having his transformers "battle", Josh WAS studying psychology but has now fallen asleep and Cole is down for a short morning nap. I still need to move some food out to the outside freezer and finish cleaning the kitchen before we take off for clinicals. I'm not looking forward to clinicals today. They just seem to drag on and with all that we have to do, I just wish it was optional! :-) I didn't get a chance to paint Ryan's room on Friday because Josh took the car to work and it still had all the paint in the back. :-( But I don't have to work Monday, so I think I am going to at least knock out the priming before Ryan gets home. Then I might have him nap in my room so I can finish it up. It really shouldn't be more than a day project. Because Josh had the car, we took a walk to the school to pick up Ryan. He didn't have a very good day at school, but the walk home was really nice and he was pretty good for me. I'm hoping it was just a bad day and that he isn't going back to crazy kid mode. After dinner, Ryan and I went out and kicked the soccer ball for a while, I showed him how to dribble a little and he seemed to be getting the hang of it, then we practiced catching. He automatically was throwing with his left hand, but it was kind of going all over the place, so I told him to try to throw with his right hand and he threw it right to me! So we kept switching hands and he definitely got better with his left hand. I think we'll just keep having him practice with both and then when he gets a little older, he can pick what feels most comfortable. After I got the boys down for bed, I headed off to the grocery store. Safeway had some great deals, so if you have one by you, their Eggo's are 1.77 a box with NO limit. :-) So I stocked up on some of those because Ryan and Josh LOVE them and it gives a little variety from cereal in the morning without taking up too much time. They also had their pork chops on sale for 1.25 a lb and their steaks on sale for like 1.89 a lb. It was pretty awesome. So I got some stuff for the freezer and some stuff for food storage. I'll have to do what Lisa did and take a picture of what we have in food storage...I would say we are up to a month and a half at least...maybe two months. Once I get done with clinicals I'm going to start going to the cannery to get working on our long term supplies. We actually have the space in the garage (once we get it arranged) to do it, so now is as good a time as any! :-) Well I'd better get showered and start getting stuff ready to head out...wish me luck that I don't have to do anything SUPER gross today! LOL! :-)
