So I haven't posted since Saturday, so I should probably fill you all in on what's going on. On Sunday I was called to be the second counselor in the Primary of our ward. I'm super excited about this calling. The bishop was wonderful about asking and making sure that our family could handle the extra responsibility. Josh was very supportive and although I'm not sure where I'm going to come up with the extra time, I am sure that we will be blessed for it. :-)
Cole hasn't been sleeping super great this week. It hasn't been too bad, but basically he wants to only snuggle with me if he's nursing, otherwise he wants to sleep with Daddy. I know Josh is feeling special that Cole is wanting him more, but I think it's causing both of us to get less sleep than normal.
Work has been going wonderful for Josh as usual. He's staying really busy and that is good. He also got a call back about a pt job with AmeriCorps doing stuff with the trails and parks around Longview. The extra money would be nice and at the end of the contract Josh will get a 2300.00 scholarship for school. YAY!
Ryan is doing wonderful too. His attitude has improved greatly. He still has his moments, but we aren't having the complete and total meltdowns that we were. We are still trying out some things. He's responded really well to some things and not so well to others. He did have to sit in the blue (timeout) chair at school because he took a chunk out of his hair with the scissors. When we spike his hair up in the front it's not as noticable, but there is really no way of hiding it completely. Oh well. I honestly think cutting hair is a right of passage or something. A few of you know that I don't have a lot of memories from my childhood, only a handful from before the age of 8 or 9. But I DO remember very specifically sitting under my mom's sewing table and butchering my hair. It was so bad that my mom actually made Jenn get her hair cut super short too so I wouldn't feel bad. Thanks Jenn. :-) So yeah, things are going better with Ryan and I'm hoping that it continues and keeps getting better.
I'm doing well...tired, but okay. School is going well and so is work. I'm glad that I have a job that I like to go to and it doesn't require me to have to worry about it after I leave. :-) We don't have school tomorrow, so they did a little halloween party in the student center today. They had kareoke and I got up and busted out a little Black Velvet...so that was fun! :-) After work and my Chem group, I picked up Josh and we went and got the boys. Miss Carolyn had made special Halloween cookies for us and when we got in the car, Ryan asked if we could go "looking around". That meant he wanted to take a drive up in the hills to look for deer. We got VERY lucky this time and got to see two deer. Ryan and I got out of the car and got very close. We were probably no more than eight feet from the deer. They were both does and kept a careful eye on us while we watched them. We drove around a little more after that. The trees and leaves were just beautiful. Ryan kept saying how pretty the golden leaves were. :-)
Tomorrow I don't have school or work, so I am going to take the Ryan to school and spend the morning with Cole. Then I am going to take the boys to Miss Carolyn's for a couple hours after Ryan gets out of school, because she is making a special Halloween lunch for them and then I can have time to finish Ryan's Spider costume. We are going to get the boys in their costumes and if it's not raining we are going to take the boys to the lake and get some pictures of them. Seriously, the leaves and trees and so gorgeous right now! Then we are going to trick or treat in the neighborhood around the lake cause I hear that's where the best candies are. :-) After that, it will be off to the church trunk or treat and carnival. I'll be sure to take lots of pictures, but I can't guarantee when I'll get them put up. :-)
So I think that's about it...how's that for a super long post! LOL!

I'm back online!
So with MANY thanks to Laker Cook for saving my computer and everything on it, I'm back online! I was only gone a few days, but still, it's weird not having the constant access that I'm used to! :-) So Ryan has said SEVERAL cute things today, one of them being "Mom, but Ethan hit me on my BEAUTIFUL lips!" I guess I should stop telling him that he has beautiful lips. :-) Also, I've been trying to teach him how to take care of his own minor problems, so he came out and said Ethan hit him and I said "So what do you say to Ethan?" He sighed pretty heavily and said "We say Ethan please don't hit." So he's getting it, but he doesn't like it, I think he'd prefer I make other people stand in corners. So yeah, all in all he's been great today! Bry, Jess and their family are taking a road trip and Josh is going to dinner with his friend Michael so Ryan and I decided we are going to rent movies and make cupcakes with sprinkles! He's really excited about it...and I kind of am too. It will be nice to have a quiet evening just to us. :-) On the house hunt front, the house we wanted got rented to someone else...I was pretty sad. So we will be taking ANOTHER trip up there next Saturday to see if we can find something that will work for us. So that's about all for now. I'm going to get off here and get ready for my date night with Ryan!

Let the moving begin...
So, Josh did get an offer on the Washington job and we have decided to take it. I had to give my 30 day notice to my parents and it was just SO sad to have to do that. We are really excited about this new opportunity, but we are still very sad to leave this area and all our friends and family. I'm going to miss all my pregnant buddies in the ward, but I will definitely be coming back, hopefully for all the baby showers! :-) We went up on Saturday to look at houses and apartments. When we crossed the border and told Ryan we were IN Washington, he was VERY disappointed to find out there was not an actual DOOR to open to get to Washington! We found a cute little house that we are hopeing to get. It will be perfect for us and help us to save money to buy our own house! We liked the area alot and the house we are looking at is within walking distance to the hospital where Josh would be working! Doesn't get much better than that! :-) So cross your fingers that we do get into it and everything works out. Well that's the update for now. My computer is going to be down for the next few days. I've been using Bryan and Jessica's but I won't have it at my disposal like I do mine. Email or call me if you need me!

So tired...
I think this weekend, I'm putting Josh on morning duty with Ryan and I'm going to take a sleeping pill. I honestly think my body is shutting down. For some reason, sleeping pills hit me REALLY hard, so I have to have at least 10-12 hours to devote to sleep instead of the normal 8. I think tonight and tomorrow night, since I don't have to get up for daycare I'm going to take a sleeping pill so that I can actually get two full nights of sleep. Maybe that will help carry me through the next week. And truly, if pills don't work...it's possible that I might turn into a zombie! :-)
We are still keeping our fingers crossed for the Washington job. Everyone I have talked to says they have a good feeling about it...but until they actually offer him the job, I'm not going to get my hopes up. I think that's all my complaining for now...please feel free to skim this post. :-)

Some positive news on the Josh job front...
So Josh got a call this morning from one of the people on the panel that interviewed him for the Washington job. She said she was calling all the final applicants and letting them know that the job description would be changing a little from what they had originally thought. Among other things she also told him that if she was being honest with him, he was at the very TOP of her list of who to hire. So that was pretty awesome to hear. She also said the next steps were to send his information on to HR and do the background checks and check references. She said he should be hearing from someone within the next week to week and a half. She told him that there was lots of room for advancement within this company too. So that was nice to hear too! So please, PLEASE keep this in your prayers! Although it would take us from Eugene, it could be really great for our little family! xoxo!

Thank you!
Thank you all for your prayers! Josh said he felt like he did great on his interview yesterday. The panel also told him that he did great. We won't know until after the 18th if they are considering him for the position... so please keep the prayers coming that they liked him enough to offer him the position! He is one out of five that they interviewed...would it be too mean to pray for the other people to BOMB their interviews??? LOL! Thank you all again so much!

Prayers needed!
Josh just got a call back for an interview on Tuesday for a job in Longview, Washington. It would be with PeaceHealth Medical. It would be awesome and although it would take us away from Eugene, we would still be close, only two hours away! It would be great for Josh, so pray that he does well and they hire him!! TIA!
