Yesterday...

After calming down and realizing it wasn't helping being mad about the missing keys, wonderful Rachel offered me a ride to my dr's appt. She's so great!! And we also got time to visit! My appt went well. The dr did verify the fact that I'm enormous by telling me that I was measuring at 32 weeks. I'm only 27 weeks. :-( But I did only gain 3 lbs since my last appt! My last appt I was 25 weeks and was measuring 28 weeks...so I've gain TWO WEEKS!! The dr said that it could be because of how short waisted I am or because of the way the baby is sitting. Jenn said she thinks it's because I'm going to have a 27 lb baby with 12 teeth! Everything looks fine. Cole's heart rate was at a strong 152 and he's head down. Which would explain the painful kicks I am experiencing to my ribs and stomach. We didn't end up doing the gluclose test as planned. Apparently Dr. Cooper was taking pity on me. :-) It was sad that it was my last appt with him. He's such a great dr and I will miss his wonderful office and him. So that's about it. Josh will be home tonight, his boss gave him Friday off to move and the truck will be here tomorrow so we will be getting all that stuff done and hopefully the move will go smoothly. Oh yeah, obviously we heard from the apt complex and everything went through just fine. So it's official...we have a place to live! It's a nice complex and it's right next to the elementary school that Ryan will be going to, so I'll be able to walk him to school when he goes to kindergarten. :-) YAY for easiness! Alright, I'd better get back to the packing!

Things are looking a little up...

Well Josh thinks he may have found us a place, so YAY! Let's hope it all works out. :-) Thank you Lisa and Tim for your offer, it was SO sweet of you! Josh is doing well in his new job, he made it through orientation and now he gets to get started on his actual job. He's been staying in Portland with my brother and sister in law and just commuting up to Longview. It will be really on our gas budget when we don't have to do that anymore! :-) I did have a lady email me about childcare, so it's possible I may even have a job once we get there...that would really be wonderful. Ryan is getting exciting about the move, or at least about going to Washington. I'm still not sure if he understands that it's permanent, but he'll get it eventually. :-) He also know that after we move to Washington, he gets to go to kindergarten, he just doesn't know how long after we move there. With the new baby and all, there will be lots of changes, but I think he will do just fine with it. :-) So yeah, please keep your fingers crossed that this all works out the way we hope!

Today has been a horribly disappointing day...

I'm probably going to be homeless in about a week and a half. Oh well, at least we have a big car right?

Worst night!

I woke up at about 3:30am with the worst leg cramps. I had to wake Josh up, not that there was anything he could do, but it made me feel better. I swear I thought someone was stabbing me. It was horrible. :-(

So we are heading back up to Washington today to see if we can find a place. We have a few places lined up to look at. And we are also going back to the apt place we liked to see if they are going to have any openings in March. Wish us luck!

I'm back online!

So with MANY thanks to Laker Cook for saving my computer and everything on it, I'm back online! I was only gone a few days, but still, it's weird not having the constant access that I'm used to! :-) So Ryan has said SEVERAL cute things today, one of them being "Mom, but Ethan hit me on my BEAUTIFUL lips!" I guess I should stop telling him that he has beautiful lips. :-) Also, I've been trying to teach him how to take care of his own minor problems, so he came out and said Ethan hit him and I said "So what do you say to Ethan?" He sighed pretty heavily and said "We say Ethan please don't hit." So he's getting it, but he doesn't like it, I think he'd prefer I make other people stand in corners. So yeah, all in all he's been great today! Bry, Jess and their family are taking a road trip and Josh is going to dinner with his friend Michael so Ryan and I decided we are going to rent movies and make cupcakes with sprinkles! He's really excited about it...and I kind of am too. It will be nice to have a quiet evening just to us. :-) On the house hunt front, the house we wanted got rented to someone else...I was pretty sad. So we will be taking ANOTHER trip up there next Saturday to see if we can find something that will work for us. So that's about all for now. I'm going to get off here and get ready for my date night with Ryan!

Let the moving begin...

So, Josh did get an offer on the Washington job and we have decided to take it. I had to give my 30 day notice to my parents and it was just SO sad to have to do that. We are really excited about this new opportunity, but we are still very sad to leave this area and all our friends and family. I'm going to miss all my pregnant buddies in the ward, but I will definitely be coming back, hopefully for all the baby showers! :-) We went up on Saturday to look at houses and apartments. When we crossed the border and told Ryan we were IN Washington, he was VERY disappointed to find out there was not an actual DOOR to open to get to Washington! We found a cute little house that we are hopeing to get. It will be perfect for us and help us to save money to buy our own house! We liked the area alot and the house we are looking at is within walking distance to the hospital where Josh would be working! Doesn't get much better than that! :-) So cross your fingers that we do get into it and everything works out. Well that's the update for now. My computer is going to be down for the next few days. I've been using Bryan and Jessica's but I won't have it at my disposal like I do mine. Email or call me if you need me!
